Emerging - India, China, Brazil. And the Korean Treaty

| Power of Mandarin as a language
Hindi (333 million speakers) preceded by Mandarin (836 million speakers), both floating atop in the list of the world’s most spoken languages. Since the Indian segment (business and consumer B2B & B2C environments) inclines towards being English literary, it is not a wise option to adopt learning this for foreign nationals intending to discuss business in India, of course, as translation of this language here is a pointless cost to bear if hiring the Indian Manpower who, on a contractual payroll, is well versed with negotiations, relationship building and – what we are known for – has significantly less remunertion on an index to their international counterparts. The bigger linguistic divide lies in Mainland China & Taiwan itself.
Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing & Dongguan, Hong Kong and Industrial Taiwan as trading partner have to be bridged on a standard language platform. Many years ahead for English to be adopted from the East Asian employees at the engineering and middle management, but business must go on.
| India v/s China – economically.
Despite being established as THE “mass scale manufacturing nation” thanks to the timely policies implemented in the proceedings of the World War II, China has already started receiving acceptance for its home-grown brands from the European and American user market; being cited as a nation of innovation. Let’s call that as a sign of moving beyond global OEM production alliances. In fact, the global user base demonstrates significantly more brand loyalty in their behaviour than the Chinese Nationals themselves.
Clearly, the knowledge to deploy from the Employee forces of the two Asian giants and the raw material costs, not just the skilled population size; is tilting the balance of the global business power to India and China. Brazil (hence the need for Spanish) and Russia too, yes.Organic Chemical exports will clearly boom with reference to the global lifestyle trends.
It is still a relief to acknowledge that both China and India are nuclear states, but both are under the treaty of No First User of Nuclear Bombs. Border disputes continue. Despite the Doklam Issue where the Indian military intervened in request of support from the Bhutanese Military against the Chinese troops to stop the road construction that threatened the security of the Indian and Bhutanese territorial security.
We cannot overlook, that making a manufacturing nation would mean constantly keeping operation costs in check which, as we can guess, has always been at the expense of labour dignity. Strict internal company labour laws that shall bind the labour at lower wages and longer working hours and place intense production pressure that may endanger safety. But as India’s indigenous manufacturing units attempt to grow in size, the internal community warfares, naxalite maoist and similar chaotic insurgencies hinder. Bangladesh, despite a smaller area in counterpart to India, is the second largest in the global apparel industry to China.
| Brazil, India, China
The India-China economic rivalry dates back to history and yet the trading relations between the two, crucially involves global stakeholders – whether in resource, talent or materials.
Brazil, China and India are now the three emerging markets are actually changing the landscape of sustainability. The heightened recognition of these nations can also be traced to events like the World Economic Forum ’18 hosted by Tianjin, PRC (notably an event for the “World Champions”) and Rio +20. CSR in China is evolving from, what was earlier heavily centered around compliance with corporate governance, now towards investments in clean and green technology. Brazil seeks to address local concerns, whether governance of the Amazon rainforest or civil society- in order to attract foreign business partners to establish their value chains in Brazil, and attract investors. Brazil faces a serious crisis over talent, reason behind which educational institutions and the appropriate teachers for training is in their primary focus. The private sector of India, identified as being more responsible in their processes, is being called upon to invest or engage their resources towards public infrastructure and amenities.
| CPEC
CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) is not a simple intra-nation economic corridor, but a strategic work-around. The Maritime Silk route may have its noble business reasons. The world might soon count on India to keep up with its neighbours. The location is in itself a context. THE context. India being adjacent to the world’s largest production nation , while also being adjacent to the other most security disputed nation – both of which have found a longstanding axis or internal understanding amongst one another majorly fueled by depleting relations with other immediately adjacent nations. With very little in commonalities yet the tightest relations in international diplomacy – or, in detrimental terms, a leverage for one another in economic and diplomatic frictions to face ahead.
| Treaty of the Korean Peninsula ’18
With the affirmation of North Korea and South Korea’s peace treaty, Kim Jong Un and Moon Jae-in finally calling Truce to the Korean War with declaration of a Nuclear Free Korean Peninsula. The entire day was a Thespian setup in the Peace House at the border land of the two nations, welcoming Kim Jong Un to South Korea to initiate the summit of amity. Which was boldly hinted by Moon Jae-in as a priority for the day suiting himself with a contrasting sky blue tie. The bloodied war zone and heavily guarded buffer area between the two nations is now agreed upon to be a conjoint fishing zone!
Although I am not sure yet what relevance China’s Xi Jinping has to this war clearance declaration (apart from the US Korean conflict and the armistice in the 1950s), or even over being included the four party forum of the two nations and US in speculation ahead. Trilateral discussion of the US and the two Korean Nations in estimated summer of this year. Being optimistic, if and when North Korea opens to the outside world post this treaty, the public infrastructure could be for Moon to take a friendly visit without an ’embarassing’ moment.
